Mode of action: Nigella sativa possess immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory and antihistaminic activity. Colloidal oat has excellent anti-inflammatory, antihistaminic and moisturizing effect. The combination of argan, almond oil and carrot oil rich in oleic and linoleic acid, carotene, vitamins A and E and bioactive compounds from the oil macerate of the selected medicinal plants, essential oils, honey, beeswax and glycerin in the selected proportions has strong anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral activity, provides deep hydration, moisturizes and nourishes the skin, stimulates the regeneration of damaged skin.The selected plants act in the formulation as free radical scavenging, metal chelating, and reactive oxygen quenching agents, thus protecting the skin from the damage caused by highly reactive species. The anti-inflammatory mechanism could be explained by interaction of bioactive components of the extracts with host membrane signaling pathways that promote the synthesis of anti-inflammatory proteins trough numerous cascade reactions or by the inhibition of host membrane signaling pathways, and consequently the inhibition of the synthesis of pro-inflammatory mediators. Consequently, such activity results with decrease of inflammatory skin changes. Furthermore, the above mentioned plants macerate in the combination with tea tree essential oil showed a strong antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral activity against wide range of pathogens and acts by preventing uncontrolled growth of the pathogens that can cause skin infection and also serve as natural preservatives in the ointment.
Indications: relieves the symptoms of dermatitis, seborrhea, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases (reduces redness, swelling, crusting, scratch marks, lichenification, dryness, itching); It has anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, anti-histaminic, antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial activity; provides deep hydration, moisturizes and nourishes the skin; stimulates the regeneration of damaged skin.
Dosage and administration: Apply the ointment in a thin layer on the affected area 4-5 times a day. In the case of wounds caused by scratching, combine this this ointment with baby version of wound healing ointment.
Precautions: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the product.
